Pendragon fell in love with the beautiful Ygerne; Ygerne and her husband Gorloi fled to Cornwall, purseued by Uther’s warriors; Ygerne and her daughters took refuge in Tintagel: Pendragon came to her bed disguised by Merlyn’s craft as Gorlois, and how Ygerne bore him a son, Arthur.
